Hi! I'm Emily
Founder | Registered Dietitian + Pilates Instructor
I am dedicated to helping individuals develop a healthier relationship with food, movement, and their body. I support my clients in breaking free from the grip of diet culture by realigning their values and behaviors, challenging rigid thoughts and beliefs, and building flexibility in all areas of life. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based practice, I strive to create a positive and collaborative environment that prioritizes overall well-being and empowers individuals to live a nourished life.

A Little More About My Story...
Growing up as a competitive Irish dancer, I became increasingly interested in how nutrition impacted performance in my teenage years. However, in my late teens and early 20's, I struggled with my fair share of disordered eating. Unfortunately, some of my biggest accomplishments in Irish dancing were in the face of my biggest struggles - as I was ascending world rankings, my physical and mental health were taking a toll due to my unhealthy relationship with food, exercise, and my body. Simultaneously under-fueling and overtraining, I experienced RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport), years of hypothalamic amenorrhea, an unhealthy obsession with my shape/size, and an intense fear of gaining weight.

It wasn't until I embarked on my personal healing journey, through professional support and years of unlearning maladaptive behaviors and thought patterns, that I was able to make peace with my food, body, and movement. I firmly believe that all bodies (no matter what sport you play or season of life you are in) are deserving of nourishment from foods that both energize us and bring
us joy.
Professional Bio
After earning a bachelor's degree in Management from Emmanuel College and retiring from competitive Irish dancing, Emily pursued training to become a STOTT Pilates Instructor. With three years of experience teaching private and group Pilates at an all-women's health club in Boston, Emily identified a gap in her expertise and decided to further her education by studying to become a registered dietitian. She completed her didactic dietetic coursework at Simmons University, followed by a 1,200-hour dietetic internship at the University of Minnesota, where she gained valuable exposure and hands-on experience across residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of eating disorder treatment. Upon successfully passing her RD exam, Emily began her professional career at a group private practice specializing in eating disorders. Following a relocation from Boston to Stamford, Connecticut, Emily joined a nationally recognized eating disorder facility, where she worked with clients at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Emily's approach to client-centered care emphasizes holistic well-being, guiding individuals through their unique health journeys with compassion and empathy.
